This week’s lineup of new Nintendo Switch releases includes Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition.
The Nintendo Switch gets two AAA games this week that are also released on Xbox and PlayStation.
We’re cautiously optimistic that Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will survive the journey relatively intact. However, we’re not as confident about MLB The Show 22.
The game looked a little rough in a recent tech test, but Sony’s San Diego studio has promised improvements in time for release. Cross-play and cross-save are confirmed across all platforms, so the Switch version could find a place as a portable companion to the Xbox and PlayStation editions.
Elsewhere, Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition gives the classic Square RPG a slight visual upgrade and some new gameplay and display options. The House of the Dead: Remake updates the arcade classic with new visuals and motion controls.
Other new Nintendo Switch releases include Kombinera, Slipstream, and Chinatown Detective Agency. Check back throughout the week for more updates.
