Dark Light

Here’s the full lineup of new video games coming to the Xbox One between September 23-27, 2019.

Let’s talk about the biggest release of next week on Xbox One: Mining Rail 2. OK, moving swiftly on…

Konami’s beloved run and gun franchise returns next week with Contra: Rogue Corps, only this time it’s a top-down twin-stick shooter thing. Series veteran, Nobuya Nakazato, has overseen development but unless the game has changed significantly since our time with it at E3 2019, we think this will be one to avoid.

We’re also a little weary about Bandai Namco’s new action RPG, Code Vein. The game’s demo has been updated today, so we recommend giving that a whirl before committing. Other new releases include Deck13 Interactive’s RPG sequel, The Surge 2, and arcade brawler, Fight‘N Rage. Football fans – apart from those who support Juventus – should lace up their boots in anticipation of FIFA 20 from Electronic Arts.

All of next week’s new releases can be purchased from the Xbox digital games store and Microsoft online store. Here’s the full lineup.
