With the festive season approaching, there’s a reasonably quiet week ahead for new Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One releases.
Our pick of the week is Lacuna, a sci-fi noir adventure from DigiTales Interactive that received acclaim on its PC release in May. A strong narrative, cool investigation gameplay and well-executed visuals make this the perfect thriller to play over the winter break.
When I was a kid – and I’m showing my age here – Horace Goes Skiing on ZX Spectrum was the pinnacle of gaming. Horatio Goes Snowboarding from Infinite State is unlikely to have the same impact, but it’s a fun slice of downhill arcade action.
Other new Xbox releases include In My Shadow and Vegas Tales. Should any other games turn up during the next week, we’ll update this page.
