Nintendo knits forthcoming platformer to Amiibo range.
Oh, now this is nice.
A new CGI trailer has been released by Nintendo demonstrating some rather lovely Amiibo functionality in Yoshi’s Woolly World.
A quick tap of a compatible Amiibo figurine on the Wii U GamePad will result in Yoshi wearing a character related pattern. Yeah, it’s just a skin, but they look so darned cute.
In addition, tapping a Yarn Yoshi Amiibo or Yoshi Amiibo to the Wii U GamePad will allow you to play solo with two Yoshis on screen.
Whilst this won’t make the game any better it’s nice to see Nintendo’s range of figurines being used in more and more titles.
Yoshi’s Woolly World will be released on Wii U on the 26th June 2015.
