Nintendo UK has announced details of its 2015 Summer Tour, which will visit five locations nationwide.

The Nintendo Summer Tour gives members of the public the opportunity to get hands on with a selection of Nintendo games – with dedicated play areas for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

The selection of games on offer includes the recently released Wii U titles Splatoon and Yoshi’s Woolly World. Plus visitors will get the chance to play Super Mario Maker and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash ahead of their launch later this year. Other Wii U titles including Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 will also be available to play.

Visitors will also be invited into ‘Mario’s World’ – a section of the stand featuring a life-size Piranha Plant statue and giant green pipes, the ideal backdrop for fun photographs. Ahead of the release of Super Mario Maker, on 11th September 2015, visitors will also be given the chance to try the game and build their own levels.

There will be Mario themed rewards on offer for players, including hats, moustaches and a limited edition Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary pin.

Nintendo 3DS fans will have the chance to play Monster Hunter 4 UltimateTomodachi LifePuzzles & Dragons Z + Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition, plus Super Smash Bros, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire and Animal CrossingNew Leaf.

Live from 12th August – 13th September, The Nintendo Summer Tour will visit the following locations:

  • 12th – 17th August – Manchester Arndale
  • 20 – 24th August – Intu Derby
  • 27th – 31st August – Westfield London
  • 5 – 6th September – Intu Metrocentre, Tyne and Wear
  • 12th – 13th September – Intu Braehead, Glasgow
