Nintendo eShop releases

A round-up of the games coming to the Nintendo eShop on 11th February 2016.

Hidden away among this week’s Nintendo eShop releases is a nice little surprise. Dementium Remastered is an update of the 2007 DS title Dementium: The Ward. The 3DS version features graphical improvements, gameplay refinements and new a hardcore mode to satisfy longtime fans. The original was remarkably spooky for a handheld game, so this update should be worth a look.

Elsewhere, it’s nice to see Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty make its long-awaited Wii U appearance. It comes with a limited time price discount which runs until the 25th February 2016.

Over on 3DS there’s a demo for Bravely Second: End Layer and the second game in the Project X Zone series.  So, all in all, a pretty good week on the eShop.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
