Here’s your weekly round-up of Nintendo eShop game releases for the Nintendo Switch, 3DS and Wii U.
There’s a real mix of genres in this week’s Nintendo eShop selection, with some big new releases and a decent smattering of indie games, old and new.
After a long delay EU Switch owners can finally get their hands on Edmund McMillen’s squelchy rogue-like, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+. The game was released in the US back in March, and comes to the Nintendo eShop this Thursday. A boxed version is also available at retail that includes some stickers, and a retro-style game manual. If you’re already a fan of the game, that’s the version to get.
Also released on the Switch this week is the tepidly received R.B.I. Baseball 2017, and Traveller’s Tales’ sandbox building game, Lego Worlds.
It’s been a little quiet on the 3DS of late, but Nintendo’s handheld gets a big new game this week in the shape of Monster Hunter Stories.
And finally, there’s even something new(ish) for Wii U owners. Snowcastle Games’ Earthlock: Festival of Magic arrives a year after its Xbox One debut, but the colourful non-linear RPG is worth a look for fans of the genre.
