Here’s your round-up of the week’s Nintendo eShop releases on 3DS and Wii U.

Well, if you’re only going to release a few games you might as well make sure one’s a good one. And thankfully, this week, that’s very much the case. Even if it is an old Nintendo 64 title.

Excitebike 64 was released late in the Nintendo 64’s lifespan and remains somewhat overlooked. It’s a shame really as it’s a really smart motocross game that can sit comfortably alongside Wave Race 64 and 1080° as the kind of high-quality sports game that Nintendo doesn’t make any more. As well as all the modes you’d expect the game also includes a well designed course creator. Worth checking out.

Also released on the eShop this week is space shooter Galaxy Blaster and Crollers Game Pack; a collection four games that we know absolutely nothing about. There’s bunch of add-on content released for Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse, too.
