This year’s onslaught of Nintendo announcements continues with the Nintendo Labo: VR Kit. Here’s a look at the new virtual reality Toy-Con sets in pictures.

Rumours that Nintendo was dabbling with virtual reality have been circulating for sometime, but we didn’t expect that the company’s first foray into VR since the Virtual Boy would be as a new Labo Toy-Con kit.

Yes, it’s basically Google Cardboard, but it’s Google cardboard with a Nintendo spin, and it will hopefully win us over with some engaging software experiences.

Nintendo Labo: VR Kit will be released in two main SKUs: a complete set that includes all Toy-Con kits, and a stripped down starter set. Optional expansion sets will also be sold separately.
