Dark Light

Cuphead and My Time at Portia headline this week’s lineup of new eShop releases for the Nintendo Switch.

Former Xbox One console exclusive, Cuphead, is this week’s Nintendo Switch highlight. Studio MDHR’s game is set to be a huge success on Switch, having been firmly ensconced in upper reaches of the Nintendo eShop chart for the last month on pre-orders alone. Previews indicate that the game comes to Nintendo’s console in all its Fleischer-inspired glory.

Another game likely to do well is Pathea’s My Time at Portia. It’s a charming, satisfying, and grindy blend of Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon.

More action-packed pursuits can be found in Askiisoft’s Katana Zero. As you’d expect from a Devolver Digital-published release, the game is fast-paced, violent, and stylish.

Also released this week is Final Fantasy X and X-2 HD Remaster, the first Konami Anniversary Collection, and mystery adventure game, Trüberbrook.

Here’s the full list of new Nintendo eShop releases, we’ll add more games as they are confirmed throughout the week.
