New Pokémon Snap and R-Type Final 2 headline this week’s lineup of new Nintendo Switch eShop releases.

The long-awaited release of New Pokémon Snap is our pick from this week’s crop of new Nintendo Switch games. The Bandai Namco-developed adventure takes the beloved Nintendo 64 original and reworks it for modern audiences with stunning environments to explore and refined photography gameplay.

R-Type Final 2 is another new release that evolves an old favourite. The game gives the classic shoot ‘em up a glorious visual treatment, a host of new features, and some tribute stages for us oldies to enjoy.

Other new Nintendo Switch games include a port of the 2017 visual novel Angels with Scaly Wings, and Before I Forget, a thought-provoking narrative tale from 3-Fold Games.

Here’s the full Nintendo eShop lineup for the week ahead. We’ll update this page if we receive news of any late additions.
