A port of Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments headlines this week’s crop of new Nintendo Switch eShop releases.
This week’s lineup of new Nintendo Switch releases is notable for two absentees. The cloud version of Dying Light 2 and the Life is Strange Remastered Collection were expected this week, but both have been delayed to the vague release window of “later this year”.
That leaves a port of Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments as this week’s Nintendo eShop highlight. If you have completed The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, you might find some sleuthing enjoyment here. Despite its age, it’s a handsome game and there’s enough content to keep the old grey cells occupied for a week or two.
Elsewhere, there’s a mix of mobile ports, shovelware, and unknown indies to pick through. Walking simulator The Dead Tree of Ranchiuna was well received on its PC release, and The Hundred Year Kingdom looks like a reasonable bet for fans of city-building simulations.
