Live A Live headlines this week’s lineup of new Nintendo Switch releases.
The classic Square RPG Live A Live comes to Nintendo Switch revamped and remade in glorious HD-2D. The visual approach is sparkling – just as it was in Octopath Traveler and Triangle Strategy – so we hope the Super Famicom-era gameplay is still up to scratch. The original game was never released outside of Japan, so this should be an interesting curio for RPG fans. A free demo is available now from the Nintendo eShop.
More retro thrills can be found in Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium. The latest compendium of arcade classics features 32 games, available in a bundle or individually. Highlights include the original Street Fighter, Rally 2011 LED Storm, and Tiger Road. SonSon is included for free.
Other new Nintendo Switch releases include Bright: Infinite Memory, Wayward Strand, and Moonrise Fall. This page will be updated with any late eShop arrivals throughout the week.
