Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl headline this week’s lineup of new Nintendo Switch eShop releases.

It’s been a rough few weeks for players looking to enjoy some old classics. Nintendo’s N64 emulation has been the subject of much criticism, and last week’s Grand Theft Auto Trilogy release was pretty much a complete disaster.

We expect the new Nintendo Switch versions of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl to be better received. The chibi art style isn’t to everyone’s taste, but there’s something oddly comforting about these somewhat unambitious and unfussy remakes.

Other new Nintendo Switch releases include Space Moth, The Wild at Heart, and Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story, a LoL spin-off from the makers of the Bit.Trip series.

Finally, Nintendo 3DS owners can look forward to a brand new release, the frankly bizarre Horseshoe Crab Rescue!.

We’ll keep this post updated throughout the week with any last-minute updates.
