New Nintendo Switch releases for October 7-11, 2019

New Nintendo Switch eShop releases

The Bradwell Conspiracy, Killer Queen Black and the return of Yooka-Laylee headline this week’s lineup of new video game releases for the Nintendo Switch.

More than 40 games come to the Nintendo Switch eShop in another packed week of new releases.

Highlights include the return of Yooka & Laylee in a new game that pays tribute to 16-bit platformers like Donkey Kong Country. Reviews suggest The Impossible Lair is an improvement on Playtonic’s first effort, but it falls some way short of the classics that inspired it.

Players looking for more cerebral pursuits should point their curiosity toward The Bradwell Conspiracy, the new first-person narrative adventure from A Brave Plan. Set within a complex hidden beneath Stonehenge, the game promises challenging puzzles and a deep, lore-filled mystery to uncover.

The long-awaited Killer Queen Black also arrives on Nintendo Switch tomorrow. The multiplayer action strategy platformer supports up to eight players, either online or through local wireless. The game also features cross-platform multiplayer with PC and Xbox One.

Other new Switch games include ElizaAsphalt 9: Legends, Trine 4, Battlestar Galactica Deadlock and Doraemon Story of Seasons. Here’s the full lineup of new releases.
