Nintendo Switch Sports is out now… here’s the launch trailer

Dark Light

Nintendo Switch Sports is out worldwide today. Here’s the game’s release trailer.

Nintendo was keen to distance itself from the Wii era when the Switch launched in 2017, perhaps with good reason. However, the time has come for Nintendo to return to its most inclusive and family-focused franchise.

2006 feels like yesterday to some of us, but it’s distant enough for many players to feel genuine Wii nostalgia. It’s something the Nintendo Switch Sports trailer leans into with a collection of happy people swinging their arms around with glee. It’s a reminder of some good times past.

Nintendo Switch Sports features six sports at launch – Soccer, Volleyball, Bowling, Tennis, Badminton, and Chambara – with Golf arriving as free DLC later this year. The game also includes a host of local and online multiplayer modes and an impressive range of character customisation options.

Nintendo Switch Sports is available in a physical edition that includes a leg strap or digitally from the Nintendo eShop.
