Sony announces official Black Friday deals for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, and DualShock 4 controllers.
In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony has announced the official PlayStation hardware deals running throughout Black Friday week. The price cuts run from November 18-26 in the US, and from November 22-30 in Canada.
Here’s a quick round-up of what’s on offer.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Standard Edition PlayStation 4 Bundle
Features a black 1TB standard PlayStation 4 console, one DualShock 4 wireless controller, and a copy of Insomniac Games’ marvellous superhero game, Marvel’s Spider-Man. The bundle is priced at $199.99 USD/$259.99 CAN.
DualShock 4 controllers
Select DualShock 4 wireless controllers are also on offer, including the standard Black, Blue Camouflage, Magma Red, and Midnight Blue editions, plus the rather bling Gold and Crystal variants. The controllers are reduced to $39.99 USD/$49.99 CAN.
PlayStation VR
Two years after launch, PlayStation VR is now home to an excellent range of games. Titles including Moss, Doom VFR, the recent Tetris Effect, and the upcoming Beat Saber, make PS VR much more than a novelty add-on. During the Black Friday promotion you can pick up the latest headset model for a modest $199.99 USD/$249.99 CAN.
PlayStation Plus subscriptions
Annual PlayStation Plus subscriptions will also be reduced. Check the PlayStation Store in your region for full details.
One obvious omission is an official discount for the PlayStation 4 Pro. The recent Red Dead Redemption 2 bundle is an obvious candidate, but it looks like it will be left to individual retailers to run their own promotions.
