Zen Studios will release Williams Pinball Volume 1 for Pinball FX3 and Zen Pinball 2 next month.

Zen Studios are wasting no time in bringing new tables to Pinball FX3 and Zen Pinball 2  following their recent acquisition of the Williams and Bally licences.

The first release will be Williams Pinball Volume 1, which includes the Medieval Madness, Junk Yard and The Getaway: High Speed II tables.

The add-on will be priced at $9.99/€9.99/£8.99 and comes to Pinball FX3 – for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows 10, and Steam – and Zen Pinball 2 for Mac. The Fish Tales table will be free to download across all platforms.

The faithfully recreated digital versions of the classic Williams tables will also be accompanied by new remastered versions that include interactive characters, side wall art, ball trailer effects, and particle effects. Players can switch between the original and remastered tables at the flip of a button.

Speaking about the new licnences, Zen Studios’ managing director, Zsolt Kigyossy, says:

“Most of our developers grew up admiring Williams and Bally pinball machines, and we at Zen are devoted to treating these beloved tables with the respect they deserve for years to come in digital form. We have a grand vision for what we can add to these amazing tables on gaming and mobile devices. We are dedicated to providing an amazing experience and new challenges for all players around the world!”

If you want to sample the new tables before their official release, you can check them out as part of the Pinball FX3 Live Beta on Steam, which runs until September 24, 2018.
