Just Cause 3, the action-packed open-world game from Avalanche Studios, will be free to play on Xbox One this weekend.

Just Cause 3 is the latest to game to get another chance to shine as part Xbox Live Gold’s Free Play Days promotion. The free play period will last for four days, and runs from 12:01am PT on May 3 to 11:59pm PT on May 6, 2018.

Originally released in 2015, (has it really been that long?) Just Cause 3 sees players once again assume the role of dashing hero Rico Rodriguez, and attempt to topple dastardly dictator, General Sebastiano Di Ravello.

The franchise’s blend of action set-pieces and open-ended gameplay is in full force in an adventure that improves on its predecessor with a cheery swagger that offsets the occasional performance problems.

The game will is free for all Xbox Live Gold members, and should you want to continue your adventure once the promotion ends, it’s getting a massive 80% discount on the Xbox One Games Store. The Just Cause 3: Land, Sea, & Air Expansion Pass will also be reduced by 75% for a limited time.
