Nintendo gives fans the chance to line-up to get the chance play the The Legend of Zelda for Wii U.
Five hundred Nintendo fans will have the opportunity to play the newest game in the Legend of Zelda series at the Nintendo NY store in New York next month.
Like any good Zelda dungeon getting in is not as easy as it seems. First of all you have to be selected during a ‘Super-Fan Signup Day’ – or queue, as us Brits like to call it – on Saturday, 11 June.
Only the first 500 eligible people in line when the store opens will receive a wristband that they can exchange for a ticket. The ticket will guarantee a spot to play the game at the Nintendo NY store during selected times from 14-19 June.
The fun will begin along with the start of Nintendo’s Treehouse Live event when attendees can watch gameplay from The Legend of Zelda live-streamed from Nintendo’s E3 booth. And from 3pm, the first of the lucky 500 hundred will begin their Zelda experience – which will no doubt involve more queuing.
The line for the Super-Fan Signup Day opens at 7am on 11 June. Photo ID is required, as is a parent or guardian if you are a Kokiri.
