Two Point Hospital, the spiritual successor to Theme Hospital, is free to play on Steam this weekend.

Sometimes you just need a bit of healing. We can’t help you with your physical or mental ailments, alas, but they do say that laughter is the best medicine. And Two Point Hospital, which is free to play on Steam this weekend, is very funny.

The Scrubs-em-up, from developer Two Point Studios and publisher Sega, has been a massive success. Two Point Hospital is rated “very positive” on Steam, has a critic average of 85 on OpenCritic, and was nominated for a BAFTA earlier this year.

The Two Point Hospital free weekend is already underway, and runs through until the end of the day on Sunday, September 1, 2019.

As an added bonus, if you like the game – and you probably will – then you can purchase Two Point Hospital at a deep discount this weekend. Both the base game, and the Healthy Collection bundle (which includes all of the game’s DLC to date) are available with a 50% discount.

Like free stuff? Two of the best indie games ever made are currently free on the Epic Games Store, and Codemasters’ 2015 racer Dirt Rally is free on the Humble Store.
