Rad and Oninaki headline next week’s lineup of new PlayStation Store releases for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.

Double Fine return to PlayStation 4 with Rad, a new rogue-like set in a clichéd post-post-apocalyptic wasteland. Reviews are mixed, but the game’s mutation mechanics and procedurally generated environments guarantee a certain amount of replayability. Most importantly, Rad appears to have that ‘one more go’ factor.

Tokyo RPG Factory also return with Oninaki, another action RPG that consciously recalls the classics of the 1990s. Takashi Tokita – of Chrono Trigger and Parasite Eve fame – is on board as creative producer for an adventure that takes places across the realms of the living and the dead. The free demo indicates a huge improvement on the studio’s previous effort, Lost Sphear.

Also coming to PlayStation 4 is Gunfire’s promising survival shooter, Remnant: From the Ashes, and long-running MMORPG, Black Desert. Somepx’s cute puzzle platformer, Mekabolt, comes to PS4 and PS Vita. Here’s the full lineup of upcoming releases.
