Two new Wolfenstein games headline next week’s lineup of new PlayStation Store releases for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
The big PS4 release of the week is Wolfenstein: Youngblood, the first co-op game in Bethesda’s acclaimed FPS series. Set in the 1980s, it follows the exploits of Jess and Soph, daughters of series protagonist BJ Blazkowicz, on their quest tor bring down the Nazis and find their missing father. The game is also fully playable solo, with AI picking up the slack.
Also released on Friday is Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, a new PSVR shooter in which players hack into the Nazi war machine, taking over their weapons of destruction. Digital preloads for both games are available from Wednesday.
The week’s other recommend release is Chucklefish’s excellent turn-based tactics game, Wargroove. It was a massive hit on Switch earlier this year, and delivers the Advance Wars gameplay Nintendo won’t. WayForward’s compilation of four action platformers, Mighty Switch Force! Collection, is also worth a look.
Other new PlayStation 4 releases include Elea, Robbie Swifthand and the Orb of Mysteries, and Fantasy Strike. Here’s the full lineup of next week’s new PlayStation Store games.
