Get used to life after the PS3 and PS Vita with March’s lineup of PlayStation Plus games.

And so, in March 2019, it came to pass. PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita games finally left PS Plus.

Fortunately, March’s two PlayStation 4 titles are essential downloads.

First up is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. The game is a fine update to Infinity Ward’s seminal 2007 shooter. Rebuilt from the ground up, it features improved visuals and audio, and runs at a silky smooth 60 frames per second at 1080p.

It’s joined by one of my personal favourite games of all time, Jonathan Blow’s braining-melting puzzle adventure, The Witness. Both games will be available to download from March 1, 2019.

We were hoping that Sony would add some PS VR games to fill the Vita-shaped hole in the lineup, but no such luck. The only new perk is an increase in cloud save capacity to 100GB.

It’s worth remembering that all PS3 and PS Vita games previously added to your account will remain accessible as long as you are a PS Plus member.
