PlayStation Store August Sale

The savings keep coming with a glut of new discounts now available on the US PlayStation Store.

Joining this week’s new PlayStation Store promotions in Europe is another crop of price cuts for our readers in the United States. The August Savings sale features many of the same titles, plus a few exclusive bargains. The big games are obvious, so let’s take a look at a few deep cuts.

We first played Plausible Concept’s Bad North at The Mix during E3 2018. We were immediately won over by its charm and gradually escalating sense of panic. It’s a small but delightfully executed real-time strategy game.

We’ll also shine a light on At Sundown: Shots In The Dark. Mild Beast’s game is a top-down multiplayer stealth shooter in which you can only see your opponents when they a make a noise. It’s a simple idea, also well executed. And finally, do take a look at Wandersong, the joyous music-themed puzzle platformer from Greg Lobanov.

The August Savings sale ends on September 3, 2019. Visit the PlayStation Store for the full lineup of discounted titles, and visit our new releases page for details of this week’s new PlayStation games.
