Here’s the full lineup of video games coming to the PlayStation Store from Tuesday 1st August, 2017.
There’s nothing like a little summer gaming. It’s a chance to catch up on some overlooked games, or dabble in the wealth of indie gems available on digital stores. I’ve always liked finding a single game to last the season, something with depth, variety and replay value. And this week’s PlayStation Store lineup includes a few such titles.
First up is the PlayStation 4 debut of Hinterland’s The Long Dark. This startling first person survival game has been available on PC and Xbox One Game Preview for some time, but it remains a beautiful, singular experience. It will certainly make these warm days feel a little cooler.
Also released on PlayStation 4 is Mothership Entertainment’s sci-fi city builder, Aven Colony. The console version of the game includes specially adapted controls and UI, and offers up a range of resource management and environmental challenges as you attempt to build a human colony on a desolate planet.
And finally, there’s the welcome return of Patapon, one of the highlights from the PSP library. Patapon Remastered features 1080p resolution on PS4, and supports native 4K on PS4 Pro.
