Rage 2 and the Castlevania Anniversary Collection top this week’s list of new PlayStation Store releases for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.
Rage 2 is the big PlayStation 4 release of the week. Published by Bethesda, and co-developed by id Software and Avalanche Studios, the game expands on the original by ramping up the humour and violence into a cacophony of colour and exploding mutants.
Our other recommendation is the Castlevania Anniversary Collection. It’s the second of three Konami retrospectives, and features eight classic games, including Kid Dracula, Super Castlevania Ⅳ and Castlevania Bloodlines.
Retro gamers might also enjoy Bubsy: Paws on Fire!, the latest game in the long running – and often-ridiculed – platforming franchise. Choice Provisions, the studio behind the Bit.Trip series, are on development detail.
Other new PS4 releases to consider include Rebellion’s remaster of Sniper Elite V2, Devious Dungeon 2, and Asobo Studio’s dark action adventure game, A Plague Tale: Innocence.
