Pokémon Sun and Moon Final Starter Evolutions

Arrow Quill Pokémon Decidueye is the fully evolved form of the Grass and Flying-type Rowlet. Decidueye fast attacks sends arrow quills from its wings. Decidueye is the only Pokémon that can learn the move Spirit Shackle, a new Ghost-type move that makes it impossible for an opponent to escape a battle.

Heel Pokémon Incineroar is the evolved form of the Fire-type Litten. As Incineroar’s fighting spirit increases, it produces flames that burst from its championship belt-style body markings. Incineroar is the only Pokémon able to learn the move Darkest Lariat. This attack deals damage to an enemy whilst ignoring the effects of any stat changes on that enemy.

Soloist Pokémon Primarina is the final evolved form of the Water-type Popplio. Primarina’s dance releases balloons of water, some of which are used to manoeuvre in battle, whilst others explode when touched. Primarina is the only Pokémon that can learn Sparkling Aria, a new Water-type special move which heals the burns of any target it strikes.

Also revealed in the trailer are the psychic type Cosmog, the dark type Alolan Persian, and three Alola region guardian deities; Tapu Lele, Tapu Bulu and Tapu Fini.

Each of the guardian deities can use the special Z-Move Guardian of Alola. Using this Z-Move generates a huge avatar which attacks the opponents dealing damage equal to 75 percent of the target’s remaining HP.

The trailer also introduces the new Battle Tree location which will include guest appearances by trainers from Pokémon Red and Blue‘s Kanto region.

Pokémon Sun and Moon will be released on Nintendo 3DS family of consoles on 23 November, 2016.
