The new global PUBG Mobile tournament from Tencent Games and PUBG Corp has a $600,000 prize pool.

The PUBG Mobile Star Challenge, a new global tournament with a $600,000 prize pool, will kick off this weekend with a two-day European Final in Kiev, Ukraine.

The tournament finals will be held in Dubai at the end of the year.

Unfortunately the contest was only open to players who have over 1000 followers on either Twitch, YouTube Gaming, Facebook Live, Smashcast TV, Mixer, Cube TV, Nimo TV. However, entrants have been able to recruit up to three other players to their squad without any social requirements. It’s influencer marketing at its finest.

Squads from Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Japan/Korea and China are in the mix to battle it out for a share of the $600,000.
