Capcom release a new trailer and screenshots for two upcoming Resident Evil 7 biohazard DLC expansions.

The trailer and screens provide a look at the much-anticipated free DLC, Not a Hero. The add-on features the return of Resident Evil favourite, Chris Redfield, and takes place after the events Resident Evil 7 biohazard.

The story follows Redfield’s attempt to end the the machinations of creepy psychopath Lucas, and close the door on the Baker tragedy once and for all. As Capcom’s press release puts it: “Can Chris save the team while also tracking down Lucas through perilous poison gas-filled dungeons?”

The trailer also previews the story-based End of Zoe DLC, which focussed on a mysterious man named Joe who has a chance encounter with Zoe Baker. Both content packs will support PS VR.

Capcom have also confirmed that the Resident Evil 7 biohazard Gold Edition will be released PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on December 12, 2017.

The Gold Edition will come to digital and retail, and will include access to the new content, plus the previously released Banned Footage Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 packs. End of Zoe will also be available as an update if you are a Season Pass owner.

Owners of the original release can purchase End of Zoe as a separate download for $14.99/€14.99/£11.99. The Not a Hero DLC will be available to download for free for all owners of Resident Evil 7 biohazard on December 12, 2017.
