Two new Sega Ages games are coming to the Nintendo Switch next week.

Sega has announced that Space Harrier and Puyo Puyo are the latest games to join the Sega Ages series on Nintendo Switch. Both games have been remastered in high definition by porting wizards, M2. As always, the gameplay experience of each title has been faithfully persevered, but there are some new features added as concessions to modern gaming conventions.

Space Harrier gets a new move called the Komainu Barrier Attack, which, you’ve guessed it, makes the game slightly easier by shielding the player with a one-time use protective barrier. Puyo Puyo includes the original Arcade Mode plus a new online multiplayer mode, and online leaderboards.

Space Harrier and Puyo Puyo join a growing library of classic Sega games on Switch that also includes an amazing port of Virtua Racing, OutRun, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Phantasy Star. Both games will be released via the Nintendo eShop on August 22, 2019.
