In Skatebird, you play as a bird who skates.
Skatebird is a spiritual successor to the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games of yesteryear. Except, this time around, you’re a bird. And you grind on bendy straws and ollie off magazines.
Nintendo announced yesterday that Glass Bottom Games’ indie is headed for Switch in late 2020.
It looks great, especially if you’ve been itching for this kind of game. Between this, the upcoming Session and Apple Arcade’s Skate City, the eXtremely arcadey skater is making a comeback. Coo.
This one has been in development for a while, and will also come to PC via Steam sometime in 2020.
