Sony detail this year’s PlayStation 4 and PS VR Black Friday deals.

Sony will start celebrating Black Friday a little earlier this year, with a number of US-only hardware promotions lasting for an entire week. The fun starts on November 19, and runs through to Cyber Monday on November 27, 2017.

The standard PlayStation 4 model – in Jet black with a 1TB hard drive – will be available for a paltry $199.99. It will also be a good time to stock up on some extra DualShock 4 wireless controllers, which will start at the reduced price of $39.99.

Sony is also giving PS VR a big push this fall, and there will be two Black Friday bundles to choose from. The already announced PlayStation VR Gran Turismo Sport Bundle will be available at $299.99, and it will now be joined by the PlayStation VR Skyrim VR Bundle, which is priced at a reasonable $349.99. Both include the new CUH-ZVR2 PlayStation VR model.

All three deals will be available from participating retailers in the United States. As yet there is no confirmation of any deals for the PlayStation 4 Pro model.

Full details of the PlayStation Store Black Friday software sale will also be announced shortly. In the meantime, Sony have confirmed that if you’re a Playstation Plus member you will get early access to the sale – which will include discounts of up to 40% – from Friday November 17, 2017. If you don’t subscribe to PS Plus you can dig into the bargain bin between November 21 – 28, 2017.

You can keep track of additional deals as they are announced, here on Thumbsticks, or on the official PlayStation website.
