Zen Studios has announced an April release date for Star Wars Pinball VR, which will include a table based on The Mandalorian.

Star Wars Pinball VR has a confirmed released date of April 29, 2021, and will come to Oculus Quest, Oculus Quest 2, Steam VR, and PlayStation VR.

The game will launch with eight tables, two of which – The Mandalorian and Star Wars Classic Collectibles – are brand new.

They will be joined by remastered versions of the game’s Star Wars: A New Hope, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars Rebels, and Masters of the Force.

The move to virtual reality also brings some other additions. Most intriguing is the Fan Cave location, which is home to the pinball tables, plus the collectables earned through gameplay. By placing an action figure on a table, life-sized characters and vehicles will appear. There’s also a Total Immersion mode that lets you experience the game at table level.

Speaking about the release of Star Wars Pinball VR, Zen Studios COO Mel Kirk says:

“Zen Studios has had great success bringing Pinball FX digital tables to VR, and we couldn’t be happier to finally have Star Wars enter the mix. It really does feel like you’re playing an actual pinball machine right in front of you! Star Wars Pinball VR is built to be expanded upon, too – no announcements just yet, but we’re hoping to keep the blast doors open for new DLC in the future.”

The studio has also produced a cute reveal trailer that tips its helmet to the theatrical previews for the Star Wars Special Editions in 1997.
