Zen Studios to release Star Wars Pinball: Rogue One later this month.

Purveyors of pixel perfect pinball products, Zen Studios, have announced the newest entry in their ongoing series of Star Wars Pinball tables.

Based on the recent movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the forthcoming table features 10 story-related game modes, each one containing its own selection of playfield toys and goals. Examples include hiding from stormtroopers, engaging in firefights, avoiding the heavy boot of an AT-ACT walker, flying a U-wing fighter, and a battle against the scheming Director Krennic and his cheeky crew of Death Troopers.

As with previous releases in the series the game will feature online leaderboards and will also support the ongoing battle between Light Side and Dark Side players.

Star Wars Pinball: Rogue One will be available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Windows 10, Steam and Mac from January, 31. The new table will also come to iOS, and ‘droid devices on February, 2nd.

Zen Studios have also issued a PSA for Xbox players. If you’re thinking of playing the game on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One, be sure to purchase it on 360 first, then import the game to your Xbox One console.

Consider yourself told, and May the Force be with you.

We hate to ask, but...

Thumbsticks has a couple of goals. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
