Citroën driver Stéphane Lefebvre gets behind the wheel to promote the upcoming release of WRC 7.

The release of WRC 7 – which is the official game of the 2017 FIA World Rally Championship – is a few short weeks away, and brings a host of new gameplay tweaks and technical improvements to the much-travelled rally franchise.

This year’s game includes the full World Championship roster of 13 rallies, spread across 15 countries on 4 continents, plus the full lineup of officially licensed vehicles and drivers, including Citroën’s Stéphane Lefebvre.

To promote the game, publisher Bigben Interactive has released three new videos showing Lefebvre applying his professional driving expertise to the game’s Argentina, Corsica and Sweden tracks, where he completes near perfect races.

The three videos also show off the improvements that developers Kylotonn have made to the game’s physics engine, plus some of the changes to level design and surfaces that will hopefully result in a more realistic rally experience.

The year’s iteration of the game will also include weekly time-trial challenges, split screen local multiplayer, and a completely revamped eSports season.

WRC 7 will be released on September 26th 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
