Bandai Namco have confirmed a 2019 release date for Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition.

Bandai Namco have confirmed a 2019 release date for Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition.
Fans can travel to the world of Terca Lumireis once again when Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on January 11, 2018.
The remastered version of the 2008 JPRG features up-scaled graphics, online leader boards, and the option to choose between English and Japanese voice acting.
The Definitive Edition also features in-game characters, costumes, and events that were previously exclusive to the Japan-only PlayStation 3 release of the game. Finally, the game adds two new playable party members, Flynn Scifo, and the young pirate, Patty Fleur.
Although Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition is not a ground up remake, it’s a fondly remembered game, and rightly considered one of the highlights of the series. Let’s hope it’s successful enough that more games in the series get the same treatment.
