Mouldy Toof Studios’ prison break adventure game, The Escapists 2, is getting a free festive content update today.
The Snow Way Out content expansion is out now for The Escapists 2 on PC and console, and includes a brand new, festive-themed prison to escape.
Life is tough working at Santa’s North Pole delivery warehouse. Elves are forced to live in cells, and help Santa dispatch thousands of products around the world to support his new online business empire.
The game’s not-so-subtle dig at modern-day work culture includes new escape methods, a new craftable weapon, and four new jobs: engineering, reindeer feeding, servicing robot workers, and – rather delightfully – burning letters to Santa.

The free content update requires the main The Escapists 2 game to play, and is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac and Linux.
