This week’s new Nintendo Switch eShop releases include Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Tempest 4000, and Rune Factory 5.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is the franchise’s most eagerly anticipated game for years. The move to full 3D – and some lovely visuals – has helped, but don’t expect a Super Mario Odyssey-like adventure. The game’s recent eShop demo indicates the experience is more linear and closer to Super Mario 3D Land, which is no bad thing. If nothing else, we thank the game for giving us Mouthful Mode.
This week’s other big Switch release is Rune Factory 5. The RPG sequel is geared towards players who enjoy fighting monsters, farming fields, and finding life partners. Have fun!
