Nintendo eShop sale

The Nintendo eShop gets a sale on Ubisoft games, plus discounts on a range of top-notch Switch titles.

A new sale on games from Ubisoft has started today on the Nintendo eShop. On Switch, highlights include Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, and Uno (yes, really).

Also included is Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition, but before you hit purchase, a word of warning. By all accounts, the Wii U edition – which is also on sale – remains the better version of the game from a performance perspective. The caveat being you’ll need to dust off your Wii U, if you have one.

We hate to ask, but...

Thumbsticks has a couple of goals. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
