If you were tucked up in bed by 11pm last night you might have missed the new Star Fox Zero animated short.
Worry not, as the video is now up on YouTube for your viewing pleasure.
Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins is simple, cute, and beautifully animated. It’s pretty disposable but does a nice job in promoting the game. And we certainly wouldn’t say no to future instalments.
As for Star Fox Zero itself?
Well, reaction is mixed, with opinions on the game polarised to say the least. At one end of the scale Forbes call it the ‘last nail in the Wii U’s coffin’ – which seems a little harsh. At the other, US Gamer give the game a cautious thumbs-up, saying “it’s still the best game the series has seen in a long time.”
Star Fox Zero is released on Wii U on 22nd April, 2016.
