Some great indie games stand out in this week’s Xbox One Deals with Gold and Spotlight sales.
The Xbox One Black Friday sale is already discounting hundreds of excellent games but this week’s Deals with Gold and Spotlight savings are still worth a look.
There’s a small selection of indie titles that we can wholeheartedly recommend, starting with a 75% price cut for DrinkBox Studio’s Guacamelee! 2. Luchador Juan Aguacate returns to explore a vibrant and dense world that builds on the first game with a larger map and a host of fun new enemies to fight. It’s a must-play for Metroidvania aficionados.
Fans of the genre should also check out Yoku’s Island Express. Villa Gorilla’s game adds pinball mechanics to the exploratory platforming genre with stunning results and reduced by a tempting 70%.
Another highlight is the value-packed Mighty Switch Force! Collection. The game brings together four excellent games by WayForward and gives players a chance to assume the role of Officer Patricia Wagon, surely one of the best-named video game characters in history.
Other sale highlights include Prison Architect, Starpoint Gemini 2 and Grip.
