Dark Light

Here are the four games coming to Xbox Games With Gold in May, 2017.

Microsoft has revealed the Xbox Live Games With Gold lineup for May 2017, and – please forgive us for saying it – the Force is strong with this one.

From May 1, Xbox One owners will be able to download the director’s cut of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, the enjoyable 2013 platformer from Black Forest Games. The game is available to download for the whole of May.

Also available on the 1st – for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 – is Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, the second game in the story of Starkiller, Darth Vader’s secret apprentice.

If you prefer Star Wars in a flavour you know and love, you’ll be able to romp through the first six films in LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, from May 16. The game is a joyous celebration of both the movies, and of plastic Danish bricks. It’s available on both Xbox One and Xbox 360.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris also comes to Xbox One on the 16th. Crystal Dynamics’ platforming adventure is not quite as polished an experience as its predecessor, The Guardian of Light, but it really sings in four-player co-op, and is well worth a play-through with friends.
