Xbox One sale - Cuphead

Microsoft gives Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers extra discounts in a brand new Xbox One sale.

A new Xbox One promotion is offering double discounts on a decent lineup of (mostly) indie video games. Big name titles include StudioMDHR’s glorious tribute to 1930s cartoons, Cuphead, Psyonix’s vehicular football phenomenon, Rocket League, and DrinkBox Studios’ luchador Metroidvania, Guacamelee!.

We can also recommend some deeper cuts, such as Messhof’s duelling jamboree, Nidhogg 2, co-op spaceship game, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, and Vector Unit’s surprisingly thrilling hydro-jet racing game, Riptide GP: Renegade.

The savings are available via the Xbox digital games store and Microsoft online store until September 16, 2019. Here’s the full lineup of sale titles. You can double each percentage discount if you are a Gold or Game Pass Ultimate subscriber.

We hate to ask, but...

Thumbsticks has a couple of goals. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough to meet those goals! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
