Terminator: Resistance and a new expansion for Jurassic World Evolution headline next week’s lineup of new Xbox One video game releases.
Set during the war seen in The Terminator and T2: Judgment Day, Teyon’s new FPS follows of the story of Jacob Rivers, a Resistance survivor who must overcome lots of bad stuff, including naughty cyborgs and the evil machinations of Skynet. Players in Europe and Australia have already had a few weeks to sample the game, and their feedback hasn’t been exactly positive.
We expect Frontier Developments will have more success in capturing some movie magic with Return to Jurassic Park, the new expansion for acclaimed management sim, Jurassic World Evolution. Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, and Laura Dern all return to their iconic roles.
We’re also intrigued to play the console version of Headliner: NoviNews, the timely newsroom adventure from Unbound Creations. Other new games include run ‘n’ gun 2D platformer Metaloid and spooky narrative thiller, Pathologic 2.
Each new release can be purchased from the Xbox digital games store and Microsoft online store. Here’s the full lineup.
