Here’s a quick roundup of this week’s brand new Xbox One video game releases.

Details on this week’s new Xbox One games are thin on the ground, but here’s what we know.

Warborn looks fun. It’s a sci-fi tactical strategy game in which players must defend the solar system from an unimaginable terror by leading a squad of mech soldiers into battle. The game has a suite of multiplayer options and a map creator so you can create your own cartographic masterpieces.

Project Warlock is a port of Buckshot Software’s 2018 Doom-inspired FPS. The game has a cool graphical style and 60 levels of bullet-filled carnage to endure enjoy.

Other new releases include Realpolitiks New Power and Goosebumps Dead of Night. We fully expect that more titles will be added to the lineup over the next few days. We’ll update this page as they are confirmed.

Each new release can be purchased from the Xbox One digital games store and Microsoft online store.

We have a favour to ask

Thumbsticks has a couple of main aims. We want to write interesting articles and cover games that most outlets won't, and we want to give opportunities to new writers and new voices. And right now, with the current state of online publishing? It's tough! We hate to ask, but if you want us to continue writing what others won't, or to keep covering weird indie games, or to be able to give opportunities to new writers – and only if you can afford it – then please consider supporting us on Patreon.
