This week’s lineup of new Xbox releases includes Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, MLB The Show 22, and a remastered JRPG.
The long-awaited Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is this week’s big Xbox release. Despite our franchise fatigue – and some troubling stories around the game’s development – we’re hopeful that the finished product will be worth the wait. Traveller’s Tales’ Lego games often deserve more credit than they receive. There’s a giddy excitement to what we’ve seen that beats watching poor Temuera Morrison bumble around looking for something to do.
Next up to bat is MLB The Show 22. Sony’s licensed baseball simulation comes to Xbox for the second year running and is once again included with Game Pass.
Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition is an HD remaster of the classic Square RPG that features an HD visual boost, higher-quality music, new font options, and other quality of life improvements. It also comes with Radical Dreams – Le Trésor Interdit –, the 1996 Satellaview visual novel.
Other new Xbox releases include Chinatown Detective Agency, Replica, and Godfall: Ultimate Edition. We’ll update this list with any late changes throughout the week.
