Spelunky 2 headlines the list of upcoming Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One releases.
There’s another reasonably quiet week ahead for new Xbox games. Thankfully, one of the confirmed new releases is a modern classic.
Spelunky 2 builds upon Derek Yu’s 2012 GOAT contender with a host of new features, including new areas, characters, and items. It’s another game design masterclass and just as addictive as the original.
We’re also pleased to see Sense – A Cyberpunk Ghost Story arrive on Xbox consoles. Top Hat’s horror game is inspired by Clock Tower and Fatal Frame and draws from traditional Cantonese folklore. Despite its colourful and vibrant visuals, the game conjures a remarkable sense of dread and tells a chilling story.
Other new Xbox games include Demoniaca: Everlasting Night and Aery – Dreamscape. For those that care, the latest content expansion for Far Cry 6 also drops on Tuesday.
