Microsoft has confirmed the launch date and pricing for the Xbox Series X and Series S next-gen gaming consoles. Here’s what you need to know.

Both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will launch globally on November 10, 2020.

The Xbox Series X is now officially confirmed to cost $499 in the US, and £449 in the UK. Its smaller, sleeker sibling will cost $299 and £249. Pre-orders for both devices will open on September 22 from the usual range of retailers.

Microsoft is also rolling out Xbox All Access to 12 countries, meaning you can pick up one of the new consoles and 24 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from $24.99 a month.

All in all, nicely played.

Xbox Series X

Microsoft has also confirmed that EA Play will soon be added to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription service. In addition to a rotating library of over 100 games, the service will also include access to Xbox game streaming from next week.

All eyes are now on Sony, who are expected to reveal the release date and price for the PlayStation 5 very soon.
