Dark Light

Little Nightmares II is the pick of next week’s new Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One releases.

Next week’s Xbox release highlight is an easy choice. Tarsier Studios impressed us back in 2017 with the first Little Nightmares and its DLC expansions. The sequel features a new lead character – the paper bag wearing Mono – who must risk life and limb on a dangerous journey through the mysterious Pale City. Luckily, Six from the first game is along for the ride, this time as a computer-controlled character. Everything we’ve seen so far suggests another compelling and off-kilter horror adventure.

Other new Xbox releases include a port of wilderness survival adventure The Wild Eight, and RoboPhobik, a cool top-down shooter in which your robotic foes won’t move or attack while you’re standing still.

Finally, if you like German cities, or, more accurately, if you like driving between German cities, On the Road The Truck Simulator is for you. Explore more than 6,500 KM of country roads and Autobahn from the cab of MAN TGX and Scania R series trucks.

As always, the release lineup is likely to change. We’ll update this page throughout the week with any late additions.
